Rifqa Bary

And then read the latest from Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs regarding the conflicting affadavits from Brian Smith (who smells suspiciously like a dhimmi folding under Islamic pressure) and Blake Lorenze, the pastor who opened his home to Rifqa when she ran away from home this past summer.

Takiyya: Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

January 2, 2010

The following excerpts are from The Mosque Exposed by Sam Solomon, a former imam and Islamic lawyer who converted to Christianity and is now residing in the UK, and E. Alamaqdisi, a prolific writer and debater, and a regular contributor to many Internet sites on the complex subject of Islam and its teachings. They also wrote Modern Day Trojan Horse: Al-Hijra, The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration, Accepting Freedom or Imposing Islam?

…there are injunctions in the Qur’an that enable the Islamic community to disguise, play down, and, when necessary, deny both the intensity and validity of these anti-Semitic and anti-Christian teachings of its religious system.

[Takiyya] permeates almost all the activities and dealings of Muslims within non-Muslim societies…

Takiyya means “caution, fear, or disguise.” It permits the suspension, as the need arises, of almost any or all religious requirements–including a total denial of faith–when fearing threat, injury or compulsion of any kind in a non-Muslim society, or even in a Muslim society.

The Qur’anic injuction for takiyya is:

Sura 16:106 Anyone who after accepting faith in Allah utters unbelief (kuffur) except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in faith, but such as open their breast to unbelief on them is wrath from Allah.

…See also:

Sura 3:28 …let not the believers take for friends unbelievers rather than believers. If any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah; except by way of precaution that ye may guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you Himself…

The word ‘guard’ in the phrase ‘guard yourselves from them’ is known as takiyya.

…As an addition to takiyya, Muhammad sanctioned lying by saying that Allah will not hold a Muslim accountable when he lies in these three situations:

  • when in war, espionage, concealment, or in weakness
  • with his wife, or a wife with her husband
  • when reconciling or maintaining peace

Muhammad went on to say, “War is deception.”

This deception can be practiced at a personal level as well as at community level through its leaders and institutions.

Takiyya is practiced by all Muslims, Sunni and Shi’ites alike…

Beheading and Football

January 2, 2010

For a long time in my spiritual journey I carried a sense of horror and even guilt when I thought about the tribes God ordered to be eradicated in the Old Testament stories.  I couldn’t imagine why God would ever want a tribe to be erased from the face of the earth.  ‘What about the women and children?’ I’d always think.

And then I realized sometimes there is no cure for a culture of violence, torture, and depravity.  No amount of charity and outreach will stop their pursuit of death and destruction–their faith of hatred.  And sometimes, just as with the flood, humans must be destroyed and we have to start all over again.  Am I advocating genocide?  No.  But what I am doing is coming to an understanding with God.  I think I am beginning to understand why the story of the flood was written and the stories about the Amorites and Amalekites and others.

I came across this video on Atlas Shrugs.  The person who sent in the video had this to say:

I have little hope. Afghanistan is hell. Plain and simple. Gehenum. Our objective is to make sure this doesn’t spread as this video will be made in Europe in less than a generation. As Ilan Halimi clearly demonstrated. Some of his killers were 14. And they, unlike this little demon, did not grow up in mud huts never having seen a book or a normal life. They lived the middle class life of urban and suburban France. And look what they did.  I am sorry to say, my gut instinct is not one of “poor kid” yadi yada. But that we must bomb them, including their children if they happen to be in one of those madrassas and kill as many of them as possible as that is what this is. A war on infection. Even as it keeps on coming back, you must kill it and keep killing it. Perhaps by luck you will once kill the “queen bee” so to speak but until then and during, it is plain arithmetic…

I made my husband watch the video since I didn’t think I’d have the stomach for it.  Since he had watched the video of Daniel Pearl’s murder some time ago, I felt that he could handle this one.  I was in the kitchen washing dishes when I heard him burst out, “What the f*ck?!”  When it was finished he went back to his Xbox football game.  (I love men!  This is why Navy SEALs are males.)

“Did it look real?” I asked.

“It looked like that other video,” he replied.

“Were there kids in it?”

“Yeah, so it took a lot more slices.”  And he pounded on the controller to bring the Redskins to another win.

The Causes of Islamic Extremism…(but it’s not Islam, folks!)

January 1, 2010

I came across an interesting article in The Washington Times on Monday regarding the Nigerian man who attempted to detonate a bomb on a flight over the United States on Christmas day.

The Agence France Presse journalist Aminu Abubakar included quotes from northern Nigeria rights activist Shehu Sani, an agent for Asian and Middle Eastern educational institutions–Mohammad Hassan, and Ibrahim Datti Ahmad (see photo and info below) of the Islamic pressure group, Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigera. The Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigera sought the release of suspected Al-Qaeda members back in 2007.

In August 2001 Ibrahim Datti Ahmed, speaking on behalf of the Supreme Council of Sharia Law, publicly said that the SCSN would avenge the killing of northerners in clashes which had taken place in southern states. In October 2001, in the northern city of Kano, hundreds of people were killed by Muslim rioters, apparently inspired by Datti Ahmed. Most of the victims were either southern Nigerians or Christians. Datti Ahmed is a fundamentalist who complained in 2002 that apart from the states of Sokoto, Niger and Zamfara, the northern states which had introduced Sharia were not committed enough to its rigid implementation.

In 2003, Ibrahim Datti Ahmed had deliberately sabotaged the Nigerian operations of the World Health Organization’s strategy to rid the world of polio. He had claimed that there were “documents” that showed that the United States had since 1975 been implementing a campaign to reduce the populations of Muslims and Africans. He claimed that hormones had been added to tetanus vaccines, and suggested that polio vaccines were similarly designed to make Nigerians sterile.

Ahmed had said: “The council (SCSN) harbors strong reservations on the safety of our population not least because of our recent experience in the Pfizer scandal, when our people were used as guinea pigs with the approval of the federal ministry of health and the approval of all the relevant UN agencies.” His unsubstantiated claims that the polio vaccines were designed to make recipients sterile led to the suspension of the polio campaign. Soon, Muslim clerics in India followed Datti Ahmed’s lead and poliomyelitis, a disease that could have been eradicated, had not only shown no signs of disappearing, but it had returned to countries from which it had been eradicated (Yemen, Sudan, Ethiopia, Angola, Mali, Cameroon, Chad and Eritrea). In 2007 a Pakistani cleric, following Ahmed’s position, sabotaged local polio vaccination campaigns.

In 2004 after the Nigerian “Taliban” under the leadership of Aminu Tashen-Ilimi had rampaged and killed policemen in their first, highly publicized insurgency, Ibrahim Datti Ahmad refuused to condemn the Jihadists. He said of the rebels: “These are very sophisticated youth. They are not just the trash that is in government. I can understand why they did it. I’m not in a position to say whether I support it or not, but they must have their reasons.”

Ibrahim Datti Ahmad still leads the Supreme Council of Sharia Law. He still appears to support acts of terrorism carried out by Islamists.

(From the article “Exclusive: Islamists on the Rampage in Nigeria” by Adrian Morgan on July 28, 2009 for FamilySecurityMatters.org)

Shehu Sani is a neighbor to the bomber’s family and the author of the satirical play ‘The Phantom Crescent’ which was banned by an Islamic court in Nigeria’s northern Kaduna state.

He stated:

It is a Catch-22 situation. While young men who study in the West imbibe a world outlook and dispositions deemed abhorrent by traditional northern Muslim society, those sent to Asia and the Middle East stand the risk of indoctrination with religious extremism…

Whatever religious views he held while studying in the U.K., Farouk did not get the crazy idea of bombing a plane until he went to the Middle East for further study.

He also said that the favored destinations for an Islamic education are Dubai, Egypt, Jordan, Malaysia and Indonesia.

In other words, violent Islamic jihad is stemming from the heart of the Islamic world and the birthplace of Islam itself: the Middle East.

Mohammad Hassan, an agent for Islamic schools, stated:

Such schools are cheaper and are of high standard compared to those in the West. The children are also insulated from the moral perversion they inculcate when they study in Europe or America.

However, the most incredible statement came from Ibrahim Datti Ahmad who put the blame on unemployment in Nigeria’s north for pushing young Muslims toward radical Islam:

Young men from wealthy homes get attracted to extreme religious views out of frustration due to idleness because they can’t secure decent jobs that befit their status after graduating from university.

Did you get that?

Wealthy young men are attracted to extreme Islam because they are bored and can’t find jobs that ‘befit their status.’

Puke.

And at the same time, the former national police commissioner Abubakar Tsav said:

There is pervading poverty in Nigeria especially in the north – which is pushing a lot of young impressionable minds to religious extremism.

Oddly enough, in November The Telegraph reported that it is a lack of basic education that fuels rises in Taliban recruitment and extremism in Pakistan.

So, poverty leads to extremism. Wealth leads to extremism. Lack of a basic education leads to extremism. University educations lead to extremism. Boredom leads to extremism. Unemployment leads to extremism.

Well, glad to know that we’ve narrowed down the problem, folks.  Thank God the liberals are in charge of our national defense, eh?

Dave Gaubetz on “Muslim Mafia” and CAIR

October 26, 2009

I’m pissed off I missed Pamela Geller‘s discussion with Wafa Sultan, but I did manage to catch her interview with Dave Gaubetz, one of the authors of Muslim Mafia. Except for an article about four congress members demanding an investigation, the mainstream media isn’t touching this book with a ten-foot pole.

Dave Gaubetz has amazing credentials and experience in counter-terrorism. He describes the goal of jihadists: to attack the heart of the American people: their children. According to Gaubetz, the most damning information in his new book is CAIR’s infiltration of our Senate, Congress, congressional offices, and law enforcement departments. CAIR targets senior leaders of counter-terrorist groups and directors/supervisors of law enforcement departments which makes it very hard for investigators to open cases on Muslims because they are afraid to get sued by CAIR. Despite a low membership, CAIR’s big public relations “machine” is financed by Saudi “interfaced media.”

CAIR asked Gaubetz’s son Chris, who was working undercover, to shred documents regarding national security, money received from Saudi Arabia, and other criminal issues. Of course, he didn’t and instead has published them in this new book. According to Gaubetz, whether law enforcement directors and supervisors want to or not, now they have to investigate thanks to the information uncovered. In fact, Gaubetz is meeting with law enforcement this week.

Gaubetz described CAIR’s motive/objective to be the Islamization of the West. CAIR distributes Maududi’s writings and other terrorist/jihadist writings. Gaubetz stated that when it comes to shari’a law: It is all or nothing.

Apparently a lot of Muslims and mosques in the West do not want to be associated with CAIR and since the public announcement about the book, Gaubetz has been receiving calls and sworn affadavits from Muslims about the group. CAIR only picks cases that get them PR attention and many times demand up to 50% from lawsuit winnings! So, no surprise there that CAIR is currently representing Rifqa Bary’s parents!

One caller asked Gaubetz what he thought the legal fall-out would be for congressmen involved with CAIR. He was specifically referring to Andre Carson, Larry Shaw, and Keith Ellison. What was news to me was that Ellison’s hajj was paid for (over $13,000) by the Muslim American Society of Minnesota! The MAS was founded by the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD! According to Gaubetz, nothing goes on at CAIR that Carson, Shaw, and Ellison don’t know about.

CAIR distributes a lot of violent Islamic materials to prisoners…apparently violent criminals make great recruits for the mujahideen! Why are prisons allowing this stuff to be distributed within their walls?! Do they really want to have their violent criminals radicalized?! Also, CAIR provides safe havens, many times within mosques, for illegal immigrants because they’ve got law enforcement cowaring in fear — afraid to upset Muslims’ sentiments by investigating mosques!

Another listener called with concerns about Pennsylvania which has apparently been heavily targeted by CAIR and related groups. The caller reported that they frequently hold seminars like “Understanding Islam” and “Islam 101,” and they invite churches and schools to attend. In Villanova, apparently schools have been visiting mosques!

Gaubetz advises PA residents to take the documents included in his book to their elected officials and ask them “What are you going to do about this?”

Oh, and check out the propoganda discovered in history textbooks in the American public school system! Also, read Islam in the Classroom: What the Textbooks Tell Us by Gilbert T. Sewall of the American Textbook Council!

Eat your dogs, tree-huggers!

October 25, 2009

So, I got a kick out of this article “Save the planet: eat a dog?”

(And don’t get me wrong, I love dogs–I own two of them. But I also drive a Jeep Commander!)

It looks like large, meat-eating canines are pretty harmful to the environment. Says Brenda Vale, architect, author of Time to Eat the Dog: The real guide to sustainable living, and a Victoria University professor:

“If you have a German shepherd or similar-sized dog, for example, its impact every year is exactly the same as driving a large car around.”

Puts things into perspective, doesn’t it? Shame on me for wanting to protect my kids in a tank, but it’s alright for environmentalists and climate-change fanatics to keep several large dogs that eat loads of meat and grains…

Latest blunder?

October 25, 2009

Stephen Stromberg of the Washington Post writes about Sarah Palin’s endorsment of Doug Hoffman:

If Hoffman — somehow — wins with her help, she will have alienated a GOP establishment desperate to reconstruct past majority coalitions that included moderates, both because she will have hurt their cause and because they will fear her influence among true believers. In return, she might continue to appeal to some far-right primary voters in 2012, but that only gets you so far (a possible victory in Iowa, owing to the heavy social conservative vote in the caucuses there, and perhaps respectable showings in the South).

What does it say that people are more concerned with numbers of votes and less about values and SUBSTANCE? At least Palin knows what she stands for and refuses to compromise simply to attract votes!

Blurrying the roles of gender

October 23, 2009

The UN is a joke. (Although I have argued as such since they gave legitimacy to Ahmadinajad and Qadafi at the last UN meeting held here in the United States.)

Not only are they condemning Israel for “war crimes” against the terrorist organization Hamas that fights a dirty war by hiding behind civilians, but now they are telling nations that counter-terrorism policy must promote ‘gender equality.’

What is this nonsense?

Males are not the same as females. They are equal in value, yes. They are to be afforded the same rights under the law, yes. But there are OBVIOUS differences that a three-year-old can’t help but notice. Are we all in la-la land pretending that there are no differences amongst humans such as race, gender, and IQ? What is with this irrational belief that we are some how obligated to blur the lines between such differences and bring everyone up to the same social and economic level?

Joseph Abrams of Fox News writes:

In case you weren’t sure, human gender is “changeable over time and contexts,” sex slaves must not be “stigmatized” for their work, and it’s important to recognize the role of “transgender and intersex individuals as stakeholders” in counterterrorism policy.

Those are some of the conclusions of a United Nations report on counterterrorism that is intended to promote human rights — but that critics say is designed to redefine gender and hamstring actual counterterror efforts.

Just read this nonsense:

The report criticized enhanced security checks “that focus attention on male bombers who may be dressing as females to avoid scrutiny [and] make transgender persons” — who might also be crossdressing — “susceptible to increased harassment and suspicion.”

God forbid we hurt the sensibilities of a crossdresser. That’s the worst crime imaginable.

If a man doesn’t want to get questioned for why he’s wearing a damned burkha, then he shouldn’t wear one through a security checkpoint. Are we throwing common sense and reality to the wind in favor of political correctness and the preservation of people’s sensitivities?

This report is just a distraction from the real issues that leaders from China and Saudi Arabia cannot address without having to confront the nasty reality of their own governmental systems.

A round of applause goes to London for making this statement:

London, of the Hudson Institute, said that it was hopeless to look for moral guidance from a body composed of some of the world’s most brutal and repressive regimes, including Saudi Arabia and China.

“The Human Rights Council and the nations that are represented on it, they’re clearly involved in human rights violations,” London told Foxnews.com. “They’re going to be the arbiters of human rights?”

Wake up, America.

Stupid hoax…what was he thinking?

October 23, 2009

Apparently the Obama thesis going around is a hoax…

The story was repeated on several blogs such as Atlas Shrugs, Jumping in Pools, Pajamas Media, and American Thinker.

An article posted on The Washington Independent website reports that the original source was meant to be a satire.

If you didn’t listen to Rush Limbaugh’s radio show today, you missed the news that an obscure blogger had gotten his hands on ten pages of Barack Obama’s college thesis, thanks to Joe Klein of Time magazine. Michael Ledeen had jumped on the news, publishing an excerpt that revealed how the president had “doubts” about the “so-called founders.” And Limbaugh ran with it.

The problem: It was a hoax, actually marked as a satire, as Klein blogged earlier today. Ledeen apologized.

Ah well, it did make for a good conspiracy.
